What is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing practice that promotes relaxation, balance, and overall well-being. Originating in Japan in the early 20th century, the word "Reiki" comes from the Japanese words rei (universal) and ki (life energy). It is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through all living things, and that enhancing the flow of this energy can support physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.

During a Reiki session, the practitioner uses light touch or works just above the body, acting as a channel for this energy to flow into the recipient. Many people experience deep relaxation, a sense of peace, and stress relief.
